THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

The Festival of Light (光の祭典) is a yearly celebration that takes place in the Adachi ward of Tokyo. This poster was created to represent the event through an experimental process which focused first on graphics and typographic application afterwards. As a student of Japanese I took this opportunity to practice typesetting both my first and second languages in concert, that they might compliment each other and elevate the poster as a whole.
